    Kristin Kreuk isn’t a bad actress, and Lana’s character wasn’t that bad in season 1,…

    Wasn’t that bad in season 1? I mean, she wasn’t able to stand for herself, she could barely say something such as “I don’t agree”. That’s why I think her character improved a lot. Whining was something she wasn’t even able to do first because she couldn’t express herself.

    I think that Lana is the character who grew up the most. Ok, she whined, but who wouldn’t have whined with first a meaningless life (and she changed that) and a boyfriend/ex-boyfriend who couldn’t be honest with her? Don’t get me wrong, I understand that Clark had to stay silent because he would have put her in danger, but honestly, can you blame Lana for not thinking “OH MY GOD HE MUST BE AN ALIEN, THAT’S WHY HE’S KEEPING THIS SECRET, BECAUSE THEY WILL COME AFTER ME”? I mean, in season 6, she thought he was a meteor freak, she didn’t have the slightest clue that he was an alien. So I’m sorry to tell you that it’s normal that she didn’t understand and would want Clark to be honest.

    I guess it doesn’t count at all that she learned to fight for herself, that she found her dark side and then tried to come back, that she supported Clark (season 7) in a relationship that didn’t even allow sex, and that she decided to be a hero too.

    No, I guess she’s just a whiny bitch.

    Every character in the serie had flaws, even Clark. That’s what makes it more real. And they all grew up. That’s what makes the serie interesting.

    Maybe you just need to realize that you can’t reduce someone to just one trait.
